Good to know

The questions we get asked most.

Is the app really free?

Yes. The timer, the list, the hospital alert, the most important articles and one breathing exercise are free – no ads, no account. Premium unlocks the watch app, pattern detection, unlimited history and more, once or weekly.

Does the app replace my midwife?

No. Contraction Timer helps you record contractions and recognise the pattern. Whether and when you go to the hospital is a decision you make together with your midwife or doctor.

Is this a medical app?

No. The app is a tool for documentation and is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. If you are bleeding, your waters have broken, the pain is severe or you are unsure: call your hospital or midwife right away.

What happens to my data?

Your contractions stay on your device. No tracking, no analytics services, no account.
